# How does the business phone line work?

The business line is an add-on that gives your company a phone number for calling and texting in the app. An assistant can answer when you cannot and leave a short note of why the person called. It keeps the note, not a recording. The phone line is in beta.

## Good to know

- The line is $45 a month, with unlimited calls and texts under fair use.
- You choose who the line rings and when, and a team member can call from the app.
- Every call gets a short note: why they called, details worth remembering and next steps.
- The words of the call are held only briefly to write the note, then erased.
