# How does a customer accept an estimate?

They open the link you sent, look over the estimate, choose any options and accept it with their name. They do not need an account. You are told when they accept, and the accepted choices are frozen exactly as they chose them.

## Good to know

- The customer sees only what you show them: never your costs or internal notes.
- You can send the link again if they lost it.
- If you are with the customer, you can show them the estimate on your own phone. Whatever they do there counts the same as a link they got by text.
- A customer can also decline, with a reason, and it changes nothing else on the job.
