# How do I start a free trial?

Sign in with your phone number (you get a texted code), then create your company. Every new company starts a 14-day Pro trial with no card, and if you do not choose a plan when it ends, the company becomes read-only until you do.

## Step by step

1. Open the sign-in page and enter your mobile number.
2. Type the six-digit code you are texted.
3. Name your company and, if you like, your trade.
4. Add your first client and job from Jobs.

## Good to know

- No card is needed to start.
- When the trial ends without a plan, you can still see everything, but nothing can be added or changed until you pick a plan.
- Your company's information is separate from every other company's.
