Made for general contractors
Job software for general contractors
A general contractor runs many trades at once, and the paperwork has to keep up: the contract, every change, who is on site, and where the money stands. GetProSpace gives each job one record that the whole team works from. Start free for 14 days. No card needed.

A home addition, from the first call to the final payment
This is how a typical general contracting job goes in GetProSpace. Your jobs will differ, and the steps bend to fit.
The lead and the scope
Capture the request, visit, and write the scope. Photograph the site and mark what changes. Use the job's notes to keep decisions and measurements in one place.
The estimate and the contract
Break the estimate into lines by trade and area, with allowances for what is not chosen yet. The customer signs the contract online.
The team and the subs
Put your crew on the schedule and invite each subcontractor onto only their own job with a clear scope and price. They see nothing else.
Change orders and daily logs
Each change is written, priced, sent and approved before the work is done. Daily logs and photos build the record as you go.
Closeout
Walk through, photograph the finished work, close the punch list, send the final bill and issue the warranty. See what each job really earned in the job's costs.
Photos worth taking on every general contracting job
Photos protect you if the work is questioned later. They are kept with the job by phase, with the time they were taken, and you choose which ones the customer sees.
- The site and existing structure before work starts
- Each trade's work before it is covered
- Marked photos where decisions were made
- A regular progress photo of the same view
- Inspection stages
- The finished space and the punch list items
What changes mid-job for general contractors
Each of these can change the price or the schedule once the work starts. A change order writes it down, sends it for approval and adds the approved amount to the job's price.
- Unforeseen site conditions
- Code requirements found at inspection
- Selections that cost more than the allowance
- Scope the customer adds
What general contractors use most
Estimates and e-signed agreements
Build the estimate with packages and add-ons, send it by text from your business line or by email, and have it accepted and signed online. The general contracting estimate template shows the layout.
Photos, marks and before-and-afters
Take photos on the job, draw arrows and circles on them, pair a before with an after, and make a PDF photo report.
Schedule and crews
Put each day on the calendar, assign people, and see warnings before anyone is double-booked.
Invoices and payment records
Bill deposits and balances, record each payment you receive, and see what is owed.
Changes to the price
Write up extra work, send it for approval, and keep the job's price and schedule honest.
Warranties
Issue a warranty certificate in your own words. For example: "We will repair defects in our workmanship for two years, and each product carries its manufacturer's warranty."

Questions from general contractors
How do I see what a job really earned?
Expenses, materials and labor from the time clock land on the job, so its page shows the agreed price, what is collected, what you have spent so far and what is left. The finance screens show the profit and loss for the company.
Can subcontractors work on my jobs without seeing everything?
Yes. A subcontractor is invited onto one job with a role you define, a scope and a price. They see that job and nothing else, and can accept, counter or decline the scope.
Can I keep a punch list?
Yes. Each job has a punch list of items to fix, which can be assigned to a person and resolved with a note. A client's own item is recorded as they wrote it.
Is GetProSpace only for general contractors?
No. It is made for any trade that quotes, schedules and bills jobs. The estimates, documents, warranties and roles are written in your own words.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. Every new company starts a 14-day Pro trial with no card.
