How do I build and send an estimate?
Open the job, choose New estimate, add your lines, and send it to the customer by text or email. They open a link, review it and accept it online. You do not need to be in the office: the same steps work from your phone.
Step by step
- Open the job and choose New estimate.
- Give it a title and add lines: a name, a quantity and a price for each, or pick from your price book.
- Add packages (like standard and upgraded) or optional add-ons if you want the customer to choose.
- Set a deposit if you want one, as a percentage or an amount.
- Choose Send, pick text or email, and send it.
Good to know
- A text comes from your business phone line if you have one. Without a line, send by email.
- An estimate is good for the number of days you set, and then it stops being open.
- You also get a PDF with your logo, license number and contact details.
