How do e-signed contracts work?
Write your agreement once as a template in your own words, fill in the job's details, and send it for signature. Each person gets their own link and signs in their browser. When everyone has signed, you get a signed PDF and a record of who signed and when.
Step by step
- Open Documents and make or choose a template. The wording is yours; GetProSpace does not write contract terms.
- From the job, create a document from the template and fill in its blanks.
- Finalize it, then send it for signature to each person who signs.
- Each signer opens their link, reads, and signs. You can see who has and has not.
Good to know
- Signers can be asked in order.
- A document with no signature lines can be sent for reading only.
- The signed PDF includes a certificate of how and when it was signed.
- Have an attorney review your own template wording.
