Made for painters
Job software for painters
Painting jobs are won on prep, color choices and clear scope: which rooms, which coats, which trim. GetProSpace keeps the estimate, the approved colors, the before and after photos and the invoices together for every house. Start free for 14 days. No card needed.
An exterior repaint, from the first call to the final payment
This is how a typical painting job goes in GetProSpace. Your jobs will differ, and the steps bend to fit.
The walkthrough
Walk the house with the customer, noting what gets painted and what does not. Photograph peeling areas, cracks and anything that needs repair first, and mark them so the scope is clear.
An estimate by area
List each area as its own line (rooms, exterior walls, trim, garage), with the number of coats and who supplies the paint. Offer add-ons such as cabinets or an accent wall.
The signed agreement
The customer signs online. Colors and finishes can go in the agreement's own wording, so everyone has the same list.
Prep, prime, paint
Schedule the crew by day. Log what was finished and take photos of each stage: prepped, primed, first coat. Rot or damage found under old paint goes through a change order.
The walkthrough and the final bill
Photograph each finished area and walk through with the customer. Send the balance invoice, record the payment, and keep the before and after pairs for your records and your website.
Photos worth taking on every painting job
Photos protect you if the work is questioned later. They are kept with the job by phase, with the time they were taken, and you choose which ones the customer sees.
- Every wall and room before you touch it
- Peeling, cracks, stains and rot, marked with an arrow
- Masking and protection in place
- Primer and first coat, so progress is visible
- Each finished area from the same angle as the before
- Before and after pairs of the most changed areas
What changes mid-job for painters
Each of these can change the price or the schedule once the work starts. A change order writes it down, sends it for approval and adds the approved amount to the job's price.
- Rot behind old trim or siding
- Water stains that need the cause fixed first
- Lead-safe or extra prep work needed on older homes
- A customer who adds rooms or changes colors after starting
What painters use most
Estimates and e-signed agreements
Build the estimate with packages and add-ons, send it by text from your business line or by email, and have it accepted and signed online. The painting estimate template shows the layout.
Photos, marks and before-and-afters
Take photos on the job, draw arrows and circles on them, pair a before with an after, and make a PDF photo report.
Schedule and crews
Put each day on the calendar, assign people, and see warnings before anyone is double-booked.
Invoices and payment records
Bill deposits and balances, record each payment you receive, and see what is owed.
Changes to the price
Write up extra work, send it for approval, and keep the job's price and schedule honest.
Warranties
Issue a warranty certificate in your own words. For example: "We will touch up any peeling or blistering caused by our preparation or application for two years."

Questions from painters
How do I keep track of which colors the customer chose?
Put them in the agreement or the estimate's line descriptions, and photograph the finished walls. If a customer changes a color after the paint is bought, a change order records the new amount and the date.
Can I show a customer the before and after?
Yes. Pair a before photo with an after photo and the job shows a slider between them. You can share the pair on the customer's link and include it in the photo report.
Can I charge a deposit for materials?
Yes. An estimate can carry a deposit as a percentage or an amount, and you bill it from the accepted estimate in one step.
Is GetProSpace only for painters?
No. It is made for any trade that quotes, schedules and bills jobs. The estimates, documents, warranties and roles are written in your own words.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. Every new company starts a 14-day Pro trial with no card.
