How do text messages to customers work?
Texts to your customers are sent from your company's own business number, so they see a number they know and their replies come back to you in the app. If your company has no business line, send by email instead. A customer who replies STOP is never texted again.
Good to know
- Estimates, invoices, change orders and documents to sign can all be sent by text or email.
- A text says what kind of thing it is, but never its title, the job or an amount.
- The first text to someone includes how to stop them.
- Replies appear in your texts under Phone, where you or your team can answer.
